Dedicated Bookkeeper

All VFD packages come with a dedicated bookkeeper who will get to know your business inside-out. Your bookkeeper will take care of the recording of all of the day to day business transactions – saving you weeks of time each year.

Dedicated Chartered Accountant

Your dedicated and fully-qualified chartered accountant will review all of the bookkeeper’s work each month, before making all necessary month end adjustments in order to produce monthly management accounts, annual statutory accounts & tax returns.

Company Secretarial Support

Our Admin Support team will take care of the filing of your company’s Confirmation Statement, Persons with Significant Control Register (PSC), Dividend Vouchers and associated Board Minutes. Our team can also assist with any additional ad-hoc work that you may require.

What can be included in each VFD package?

Regular Bookkeeping

The day to day recording of your business transactions in your chosen bookkeeping solution. We generally recommend Xero or Quickbooks Online due to the cost efficiencies these solutions allow us to pass on to you. However, we are always open to a discussion on what works best for you.

VAT Returns

All businesses with a taxable turnover over the current threshold must prepare and submit VAT returns. We will take care of the whole process – preparation, review and submission of the VAT return to HMRC.

Management Accounts

Management Accounts are the backbone of all business decision making. Without meaningful reports, your business is flying blindfolded. After carrying out the bookkeeping each month, our team will produce a set of management accounts that are tailored to your business.

Year End Accounts

We will prepare and submit your year end company accounts to Companies House and HMRC shortly after your financial year end (after discussing with you). This will be done in a timely manner – ensuring that you do not incur large late filing penalties.

Corporation Tax Return

Form CT600 is prepared in order to calculate and report the corporation tax payable, based mainly on corporate profits. A HMRC requirement for all Limited Companies

Tax Planning Review

Your dedicated chartered accountant will get to know your business inside out, and will therefore be best placed to identify tax planning opportunities for the business and its management.

Video Meetings

Book in a Zoom meeting with your dedicated accountant to chat through your figures and address any questions that you may have. We encourage discussion in order to get to know you and your business deeply.

Cloud Dashboard

As well as being able to log into your bookkeeping software, we will also provide you with access to our GDPR compliant communications and reporting portal. Furthermore, Xero users will be given access to a real-time KPI dashboard.

Dividend Vouchers

Dividends paid to company owners (shareholders) must be formalised through the production of dividend vouchers and the corresponding board minutes to be legal.

Confirmation Statement

Each year, all limited companies must prepare and file a confirmation statement. The document updates Companies House with details of any changes to the company.

PSC Register Updates

Companies must update and file their register of ‘People with Significant Control’ (PSC) annually. The register records the company’s beneficial ownership.

Registered Office

The company address which is shown publicly on Companies House is known as the ‘Registered Office Address’. Companies sometimes prefer to use our address.

Payroll Bureau

We have a dedicated payroll team that can take care of your entire payroll function – including the collection of hours worked by staff, provision of payslips, reporting to HMRC, calculation of PAYE, NIC & pension amounts due etc.


All employers must consider whether they need to enrol their employees into a company pension scheme. Recent changes have increased the burden for UK businesses.

P11D & P11D(b)

Employee expenses and benefits are reported to HMRC on Form P11d each year. The form also includes a calculation of any Class 1A national insurance payable by the employer.

Credit Control

Our team can take care of the chasing of customer invoice payments via email, telephone and letter – as well as advising on improvements to your credit control process.

When we agree on a package that fits your needs, we explain clearly what is included in the fee (and if applicable, what is not included). We consider this transparency a key foundation of our relationship with you.
